Bees, Wasps and Hornets
Bees, Wasps & Hornets are airborne insects that in special circumstances can be considered as pests if they build their hives in or near people’s properties. Hornets and wasps are normally more aggressive towards people
The direct solution involves spraying directly into the hive, and subsequently destroying it. However, in many cases they may be in heights more than 2m and will require special lifting machinery to reach heights of up to 20m.
Snakes are not only a deadly pest to encounter but similarly near impossible to prevent. Chemical treatment often deters them however with little success.
The best solution is to have snake safety training. When spotted Titan should be notified as soon as possible and we will dispatch an emergency team within 1 hour. We do not kill snakes, but capture them and give them to the relevant animal authorities.
With over 25 years of experience, the largest snake we’ve caught has been a 3m long python and it took 6 technicians to safely capture!
Storage beetles are often found in food manufacturing and storage facilities. Sometimes they will be encountered in restaurants due to contaminated flour, grain, kernals etc. We offer special pheromone traps to monitor population levels in such locations with intensive flushout treatment to eliminate an infestation.
Pest birds can be a nuisance with droppings in anysuch as Pidgeons, sparrows and crows. Their fecal matter is often unsightly and contain many pathogens that can cause serious illnesses. Extermination methods are often ineffective and will directly impact endangered avian species, as a result exclusion is the most sought out route.
We offer consulting services at the engineering design stage for buildings to bird proof them and also offer a variety of devices that can be installed in existing buildings to deter them.
